Question about a 1928 Roadster.

On a recent trip, I saw a 1928 Model A roadster for sale. Have some questions about this type of car.
1. Is it hard to find this model or are they a "dime a dozen"?
2. Is it a hard car to restore compared to other models?
3. Is it hard to find needed parts for this car?
4. What should be the approx. value of a car like this? Body had been repaired in typical rust spots but very poor job. Was suppose to be running. No seat in it. One wheel was 19 in. Don't know of other problems but is was an interesting looking car (know this feellng is a bad one to be able to get a "good deal").
5. Would like to have just a guess-know it is hard to pin value down.

Thanks

EARLY Or LATE?

EASIER THAN A FORDOR, LESS WOOD

3. Is it hard to find needed parts for this car?
DEPENDS ON WHAT IS NEEDED

4. What should be the approx. value of a car like this?
PICTURES PICTURES PICTURES

Body had been repaired in typical rust spots but very poor job.
WOULD TAKE MORE TO RE REPAIR THEN IF LEFT ALONE

Was suppose to be running.
THEY ALL RAN WHEN THEY LEFT THE FACTORY

No seat in it. One wheel was 19 in. Don't know of other problems but is was an interesting looking car (know this feellng is a bad one to be able to get a "good deal").

I would not pay more than $3000.00 based on what you have told us.

Thanks

Something to keep in mind; With the very rare exception Model A's never sell for what you have into them. You restore a model A because you like the cars looks, like the fact that you can, as an individual, restore and maintain the car, you like the fact that there are many many parts available, you like the looks you get from others when you drive it.

If you like to work with your hands, solve problems, like to meet new friends and have the time, the Model A is for you.

If its a mid or late 1928 parts are not a problem. Roadsters are a propular body style but not for winter driving unless you have side curtins, wonderful during good weather.
Without seeing some pictures it is almost impossible to estimate a value.
