Quarter window's "loose"

Hi guy's



Install new glass in the quarter window's (30 coupe)...not as tight as I'ed like it to be compared to the old plate glass..Is there a easy fix, say something under the window frame ?

I replaced my quarter glass in my 29 coupe with safety glass and it all went back togther tight. I did re-use the original gasket however, Maybe you can run a black felt cushion around the moulding before putting it back in?

Did you use glass the same thickness as the original? Did you get the rubber U channel from a model A supplier, or a local glass shop? I have never had trouble with loose glass, using original thickness glass, and proper U channel.

Glass is to thin, not uncommon today in the aftermarket. "SOMETHING UNDER THE WINDOW FRAME"
