Nope, mask and paint, I can't afford the down time. Got to many places to go and not enough time to get there so if you see me going down the road with different color wheels you will know what is going on:)
 
Then after consideration of that fact, I think you should mask and chrome!

Dusty, you have to take the tires off to paint.... That car is too nice to consider otherwise. You'd be done with the whole project in one day...

At least take um off the car before painting right? :)

Yea, I will take them off the car:), I did a wheel that needed touched up about 2 months ago and it came out nice. Just mask everything you don't want to paint..now where did I put that damn duct tape:eek: Oh if you see my wife don't say anything about the new spray gun I bought.:cool:

BTW, the Wheels are Old Gold, and I believe the Ramblin' Wreck Club went with powder coating this time.

Looks like the 747 in Snoop Dog Doggy's movie. Can you bump those up to 26 inch wheels and add hydraulics to the KneeKnocker shocks? 400 watts and you could rattle ALL of the body panels, not just the trunk (see OutKast "I Love the Way you Move".
 
Black and Chrome?

This is the way mine came. Chicks dig the snap on spoke covers? No really, they do. The old timers are a little put out, but they also generally look down on White walls.

Hmmmm, that don't look half bad..Don Turly suggested that but I had not seem in use. I wonder what it would look like with the beauty ring, only bad thing all that is real pricey.

I've never been big on the trim rings, but it is a personal thing. They seem to make the wheels look like 16's.

I tried the wheel without the chrome, and it lost some sparkle for me.

I'd bet you could find a used set on eBay or FordBarn swap. I've seen them before, but they are not much less $$ than the "A" vendors.
 
I like the co;or of your car as it is now, which is with the cream rims, and that's nice cause you don't have time to paint them, leave her alone, she looks nice.

Thanks Mr.Plumber, the paint on the wheels are getting tired so I have got to do something. I am leaning toward the Straw color.
