push Rod

I have a 1935 3 window with original motor with a aluminum intake manifold. My question is, Will the 8 7/8" fuel pump push rod for the stock cast manifold work okay on a aluminum manifold? I know it says the 7 7/8" rod should be used on aluminum intakes but is that for the fancy intakes like offenhauser or eldebrock the aluminum on my ford is not anything fancy I would say a ford aluminum intake. Thanks Fred

The stock aluminum '35 intake requires the shorter push rod. The longer push rod is used with the stock cast iron intake which has a taller mount. Nothing "fancy" about this. :)

The "fancy" ally inlets offy, edelbrock, Navarro and the like use the stock long pushrod mostly. The Ford ally inlets have the low fuel pump stand mount hight and use the short pushrod.
