puling motor and trans

I'm pulling the motor and trans from a 1950 ford tudor. whats the best way to disconnect the clutch , to remove trans.

Not sure if I know what you are asking. If you have pulled the engine and transmission, you have to remove the transmission before you disconnect the clutch from the flywheel.

I meant the I'm going to pull motor and trans together what do I need to disconnect from trans to remove engine trans together. how do I remove clutch linkage.

Driveshaft?

Gear linkage?

Probably worth draining the trans oil before pulling it as it will drain out the back when tilted during pulling.

Disconnect the equalizer bar from the trans. That's the "U" shaped piece that connected to the side of the trans by the shift linkage with a shoulder bolt. I think it's a 3/4 bolt.

Yes, that is a 3/4 shoulder bolt.

got it off I'm taking this motor trans from a rusted out '50 tudor to put in a a lot less rusted '50 coupe.
