Protocol question

Been coming here and mostly browsing. Just wondering when checking the swap meet I quite regularly see btt, tttt, or back to top, what is that all about? Is it a courtesy thing that I should be doing or does it just up your post count? Second question is not protocol but what in the world is the Hamb I see being referenced?

Thank You

It is a seller bringing his ad "Back to top" so that it shows up at the top of the list instead of the bottom where less people are likely to see it. I don't really see a problem with it, most sites have a statement that you can only BTT something once a week/month which I like. Kind of gets annoying when the same ad is being brought back up every day.
Just my opinion.

The HAMB is a forum at another site for traditional hot rodders. It stands for Hokey-*** Message Board.

The HAMB is FAR MORE than Traditional Hot Rods, check out the Race Cars 1894-1944 thread along with many of the period photo threads. As far as Automotive Historians, there are more on the HAMB sharing knowledge than any other site I visit.
