4 42merc/ma Junior Member Apr 25, 2011 #1 Hi, What is the proper power valve for a stock 42 merc 239 engine with 94 carb, 7.5, 5.5 ? Thanks
ken ct BANNED Apr 25, 2011 #2 Most kits come with a 7.5 which in my opinion is too high a #. I use a 5.5 in all my rebuilds.I have 3.5,4.5 and 5.5 all in stock with the proper gasket for it. ken ct. PM me if you want ,no problem.
