I am a new member and owner of a 1931 SW Cabriolet Roadster, Model 68C. I am having it refinished, it is currently painted bronsen yellow and seal brown with orange wheels and striping. Am leaving the body color combo the same but have read that to be correct, the wheels and striping should be vermilion not orange. HELP

Proper color combo? BLACK:rolleyes: ! With apple green:D wheels /strip:D..Its your car so yellow is your color so be it....Someone corrected me ....BLACK WHEELS were standard on the 68C. SEE Model "A' News Jan./Feb. issue Black on Black ,a smart looking car. Everything matches in good taste.[ I think some guy named Gary Johnson owns the car].:p

Per the 2011 revision to the Model A Restoration Guidelines and Judging Standards, Bronson Yellow, Seal Brown, and Orange stripe were correct prior to July 1, 1931. Then beginning July 1 the Orange strip was changed to Vermilion.
