I bought a new sending unit for my 54 Vicky and was testing it to see how it worked. I discovered it will only read 3/4 to way past full, so apparently they are not compatible . I thought I read where someone put a resistor on the in line with the sending unit. Need help from someone who has solved this problem. I'm converted to 12 volts and using a mustang voltage reducer for the gauges.
