Have 55 Ford F-100 with frame mount power booster with front disc rear drums
correct inline valves, ( ALL PARTS ARE NEW with 500 miles on truck )--PROBLEM is cannot get full pedal stop--stops when pedal is 2" from the floor-- I think it should start stopping near the top as foot is placed on pedal--if you have this set-up on your F-100 please let me know how yours stops-- Thanks

If I understand you correctly you have a low pedal. The M/C push rod needs to have clearance before it contacts the piston or the brakes will drag. Let's say the clearance was set at 1/32" and the ratio of your pedal is 6-1, there will be 3/16" pedal movement before the M/C piston is contacted. Now if the clearance was 1/2" the pedal has to travel 3" before contact. (1/2 X 6 = 3)
Check your free play, sounds like there is too much.

I have it under the floor in my 36 Chevy (351C/FMX). Rear brake adjustment should be very tight. Check the diameter of master, smaller makes more pedal travel with higher pressure and less effort, larger makes less pedal travel and more effort to get the same pressure.

I agree with fordors. I adjust the push rod until I can see the M/C piston retract and just clear the port in the bottom of the M/C. I had same problem as you on my '41 and nwt I have about 1.5" free pedal
