Problem with side curtain order

I ordered a set of side curtains from Lebonney Baron over a year ago for a 1930 Roadster pick up. In speaking with them-they have nothing but excuses. They have been great up till now. Supposed to be a problem with chroming the snaps and their supplier. Has anyone ordered side curtains from Cartouche(Macs)?? Is the quality any good.? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
 
Most if not all repro snaps are junk ! Call A+L Parts . They sell [might have some left?] n.o.s. orginial nickel plated ones. This was asked before here on the Old Ford Barn and must of worked out well .I have no problem with mine i bought from Al.:cool:
 
i have baught from lebaron bonney for years no problem i have a 28 29 roadster top on order now they are a great company
 
It's my understanding that they have been unable to get "Cinch" fasteners for many, many months. Agreed the repro ones aren't the best but I guess they are having trouble getting even those. NOS original are hard to find and expensive. Good luck.
 
It's the 6 (3 each side) side curtain push button fastners that go into the body sockets. They tell me the former supplier quit making them a year ago and LB is looking for a new manufacturer.
If anyone knows of a source, please post. I need six to complete my home-made side curtains.

Sounds like your pretty desperate. Call around and try to locate a long time auto upholstery shop. You would be amazed at whats in a lot of their storage bins. Half the time they don't even know what they have.
 
Don't give up on Lebaron Bonney. If they haven't delivered, there is a good reason. They have earned their reputation fairly ... IMHO.
