thought it was the starting switch, changed that, new battery, battery connections good, lights work but when I pess starter foot switch, nothing. motor turns so it shouldnt be the starter but I cant figure it out. Solutions appreciated.
Also !in 1925 was there a roadster pickup with steel bed like in 27?
Thanks- Pete

If you mean the starter motor turns but nothing happens you likely have a broken Bendix spring or one of the bolts that hold it on.

Try running a jumper cable from the starter terminal directly to the battery -momentarily. If the starter turns the problem is with the new switch; it would not be the first time that has happened.
If the starter does not turn it is likely the problem.

I just had a bad battery to frame ground cable that drove me and several other T mechs crazy. Never seen or heard of one before.
Swapped it out with an old one (modern strap) out of the junk pile and away she went. Ordered and installed a new T ground strap and life is good.

I enjoy hand crankin' my 1915 (bone stock) although my shoulder DR said I should quit. Saw a guy use his foot on the hand crank one time. It worked.
The looks and smiles I get, especially from the Old Timers, makes hand crankin' all the more enjoyable.

Cranking by foot is those who would rather have a broken leg than a broken arm. Either way, when you go past the top you're going down on the right side. That's asking for it.
