Gary Karr Well-known member Jul 28, 2010 #2 Charles, I believe that the arm itself is cad plated and the bolt is unfinished.
Tom Wesenberg Well-known member Jul 28, 2010 #3 I don't know about the very early one's, but all I've seen have been painted black.

Charles Reese Well-known member Jul 28, 2010 #6 i am not in the 'very early' category ... i have the 5 brush with the 'y' mounting bracket .... i have read about, but never seen, the very early style mount. i do have the special bolt that the adjusting arm attaches to on the cyliner front cover.
