Thanking of installing a Hydravac & dot 5 brake fluid on my 51 has
any one done this I installed one on my Studebaker truck & it stoped
much better . I have new shoes ,springs ,wheel cylinders ,master cylinder
& flex hoses they were all installed a little before I bought the car there
wasn't even a mark on the brake shoes it stops but not great

I have one of my '35 (It has '48 hydraulics brakes) and stops like a new car! Easy to install and relatively inexpensive.

I'm installing one on a 56 Ford. I think it'll be a great addition.
If it works as well as I think, I'll also install one in my 32 with Lincoln brakes.
Can't go wrong for less than 200 bucks

Flatheadfan, who's Hydrovac did you use. I want to do this on my 53 because I have no room on the firewall for a regular booster.

I bought the brake booster from BXBOOSTER did you install the lines to the
front & back wheels also do you need Metric fittings being it comes from Australia
still going to use original master cylinder just installed a few months ago
Thank you for any help in this

If you use the original MC, you will need to remove the residual check valve. A bigger bore master cylinder will work better also.
