Power At Rear Wheels

Does anyone have the rear wheel power of a Model "A" from a dynamometer test?

Also, does anyone have engine dynamometer test results of power at the flywheel?

I don't have one for a stock engine but years ago I dynoed my pickup with a mild 2-port Riley. It put 60 HP to the wheels. It was an electric dyno, so I could power the vehicle using the dyno's motor. It took 25 HP to turn the trans and rear end, so about 85 HP at the flywheel.

All it takes is cubic dollars🤑👍

Wow! A 25HP parasitic loss in the drive-line seems to be extraordinarily high, and would be terrible if the engine was stock.

McMimmcs, I am the Technical VP in my local "A" club, and I give slide presentations at every club meeting. I concentrate on info not previously published, so I collect data and stats wherever I find stuff that passes my engineering giggle test. If you would like to see some of my presentations, look here

Thank you, I was wondering if my A.’s needed some kind of adjustment.
