Powder coat question

Just had my wheels powder coated and they're a few places that don't shine like the rest of the wheel. Is there any way to make them shine? Thanks Ron

The shine should be uniform,I had all 5 of my rims done as well as many other items and they look beautifull. If it was me I would take them back and have him redo them.

Generally speaking, that is a sign of being over-baked, --which generally compromises the strength of the finish. Naturally it could be from something else and wihout seeing it first-hand, it couldbe something else but like Dave said, take them back to the 'coater and have him look at them again.

Well I forgot to mention that I've already mounted the tires and put them on my car. I was just looking for a easy way to maybe polish them to help with the shine. Can powder coat be polished or buffed out? Thanks Ron

Ron,
Unfortunately, you will have to have them recoated, I believe.
On the plus side, an additional coat can be beneficial in smoothing out dimples /scrapes/rust/imperfections in the metal!

Yes, ...powder paint can be buffed. Use a foam pad and Finesse' polishing compound.
