Potvin cam ???

I have a Potvin cam that's stamped SU 3/4 on the end. Anybody know what the specs are including valve clearance? It came with the parts the previous owner had assembled for a '36 five window, including: Eddie Meyer repop heads, Eddie Meyer high rise 2 pot intake,etc. Thanks. Rod

I would imagine that the SU 3/4 is the Super grind. The specs I have are; Intake 23-67 exhaust 66-24 lift 357 duration 270. Icalled MOON regarding the lash on my MOON 400 and was told .011 and .013 for it. I don't think you'd be out of line with those specs. Wayno

The last Potvin cam I had, I called Moon and they had the specs and the grind date! That was when Bill Jenks was still around, but I do know that they kept all the Potvin data after Moon bought out Potvin. Give Chicko a call and find out.

Check with pete1 here or on the hamb. He ground my potvin has has all the specs and profiles you could ever need. Neat guy, has forgoten more about cams than most of us will ever know
