Easy way for pics:
Click the "blue post reply" lower left bottom of page, when text box opens, in the top middle of the bar you will see a "paperclip" next to the smiley face, click that, a window will open "manage attachments" click "choose file" then pick your picture, after you picked up to seven pics click the top "upload" on the right hand side of the text box, wait for it to upload.
You must type something, anything into the text box message, scroll down to see "preview post" at bottom of your text box, you should see your message as it will appear when you post, if you like it click "submit reply" to post.
Just make sure the picture file is not to large, if your pics are to big, attached them to an e-mail, don't send it, just copy once attached, they're smaller.

That's going to depend upon if you are using a Mac or PC, which operating system version, which email program, and your email program settings.

People might be able to fine tune the instructions is we knew what hardware (PC? MAC?) and what software (Photos?) you are using.

I have a apple phone and iPad. I used to be able to post pics from my phone. Now I have to use an app called image size to shrink them first.

Any chance you changed the image resolution (photo size) on your iPhone?

You can do that after you take a picture on an iPhone, but not before. Picture resolution is not adjustable. The older iPhones take a smaller resolution picture than the newer ones. This may be the case here.

Pretty stupid of Apple not to let you toggle the picture size like you can on androids and all digital cameras. I guess they want you to burn up memory so you can buy more. :(
