Walt,
If you don't figure it out in the next two weeks, I'll be coming North for some bass fishing. I'll stop by and help you out. I hope to be drving the roadster up, so I'll be going to your cruise night, too. Got her back together today. Had a quick run around the block. Sure felt good.
Paul

Hey Paul, be nice seening yea. You should have been at out cruise in last night, the weather was beautifull, had almost 200 cars. I'll probably still be setting at the boob tube trying to figure this thing out. grrr Walt

dont feel bad walt, its kind of a pain in the butt, it should be a lot simpler, i dont get this url thing, if you type it in you dont get a pic, if you click copy and go to paste it, it disappears, i think it needs to be explained better by ryan on the instructions.

If you guys have a picture on a website, such as PhotoBucket, open up the album and then open up the PICTURE (not the "index") you want to post. Once you have the PICTURE, drag and highlight the entire address of the PICTURE. Then, copy that address. I'm using a MAC, so I "command C" the address. It's probably the same with a PC. Then, go back to the Barn and work up your post. When you get to the point where you want the picture, look at the little icons above. There's one that looks like a postcard. That's the "insert image" icon. Click on it. Then paste in the address of the PICTURE from before. On a MAC, it's "command V," probably the same on a PC. You'll see that address with an "" at the front and the back. Post your message. That's it!

This should be the picture from Frank's post above:

went to photo bucket, copied img and paste, now how to do multiple pics, it wont multi copy

how do you post multi pics?

You have to "copy" & "paste" each image from photobucket. In other words, copy your first pic's img, bring it to where you want to post & "paste", then go back to Pbucket, click on the next img you want, repeat.
Hope that helps.
Ron

Haven't done it yet, but you could probably just repeat the procedure. I'm not too sure how you'd go back and forth between the post and the pictures, copy an address there, post it here, go back over there to copy another address, back here to paste it. Experiment!

Frank....in your photobucket album after you've signed in, put your cursor on the pic you want, menu shows below...click on box next to picture ID just below pic.....go to next pic, do the same....etc...etc...should be checks for all the pics you want to post.....then go to bottom and click on "generate html and IMG code".....then click on "IMG codes for message boards"....should turn blue....then cut and paste to the body of your message on the 'Barn....if your IMG codes appear, click on "preview post" below and see if all went well.....if it did, "submit reply"....good luck....Mike

WALT . . . . . . . . . . .
Do you have your photos on your Desktop ? If so, after you write your message, SCROLL down to and hit "Manage Attachments", hit "Brouse", click on your photo, hit "Upload", hit "Close the page" and you are done ! You can do multiples, by repeating, if you don't hit "Close", until you are finished.
I hope that I got all this correct. Try this. The next time that I post a picture, I'll to see if I left anything out or missed a step. I'm not that familiar, yet, myself.

I tried this and it only loaded one of the 3 pictures and gave me a red box for the other too. It also appears if you do it this way you do not get a space between the pictures which I like to have for easier viewing. But it seems like a fast way to do it.

How I post pictures is I log into my photobucket account. I select the album I want to post the pictures from (cause I have a few different albums).

Under the picture there are 4 different link codes and I select the bottom one which is the IMG Code. I highlight it then right click and copy.

I then paste that right into my reply. If I post more I do it for each picture I post and I put a space between each IMG Code that I paste in my reply box.

I never have luck uploading pictures from my computer with the "Manage Attachments" button here because my picture files are always too big for the required file size so they won't upload. So I use photobucket instead and post them the way I just described.

Once you get the hang of this. When you have the picture you want to use, load it in your albumn NO need for out side photobucket.
The picture in your albumn left click below you will see http.######
looks like this http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=263&pictureid=1489
Now if you hit ctrl c to test this.On the address bar up top hit ctrl v
This is what the world will see and should see a car.
Once you can do that when starting new post or answering a post when you want a pic you will see looks like and envlope with a stamp.says Image
click you will see http clear that out.
now if you still have the http hit ctrl v
http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=263&pictureid=1489
That should put pic in message. If you have lost it.
Always save http # in word pad.
I hope this will be of help to someone.

hmmm, don't know why it only posted one of your pics and gave the dreaded "red x" on the others....it worked for me....and yep, it doesn't give any space between the photos, which means to write something between the photos you need to load them one at a time...i think....but am still experimenting........Mike
