I got a $30 (2016) Performance Dynamics Auto Inc because they had highest amp rating at time. Note it has an accessory terminal. No more opening and closing the hood, I installed a toggle switch on clock to eliminate off-time battery draw if master switch left on. Not a concourse car at purchase, I made engine compartment safer when swing a wrench around by using vinyl covers on all high amp terminals. Regarding better starting, I have 12 volt neg ground and old timer suggested trick of connecting the battery ground cable directly to the starter motor for better current flow, but be sure there's at least one full sized cable grounding the engine block to the car body.
