Pop-Out switch

Hi,

I have an original(?) Model A pop-out switch and key, all looks good except that the cable housing is shorted to the center contact that screws into the distributer. Is there a rebuilding business somewhere that can repair these old switches?

Hi Ed,

Mr. Dick Crabtree
P. O. Box 33
555 Missouri Drive
Pickstown, S. D. 57367

Phone: (605) 487-7229

Just sent him my original August 1930 Model A pop-out switch with original key.

He also has keys. He can tell date of lock by lock number.

Just designed an easily installed & removable threaded device to easily connect a Model A pop-out switch to a Model B distributor with a simple wire connection.

Mr. Crabtree said he would like to have one for his Model B distributor which he runs on his Model A, so I am mailing one to him today.

Cal Allen "The Key Guy" has been around the hobby forever. His prices are reasonable and he is a nice fellow to do business with. Chandler, AZ 480-892-0456

Dick has restored hundred of popouts. I have three I bought from him. He does an excellent job for a fair price.

I'll also endorse Dick Crabtree. I've not dealt with Cal Allen but I'm sure he's good also if Tom recommends.
