I sold my A when I moved to Kansas to attend Mac College's Auto Restoration program, but I commuted in it to work (in the CA Bay Area) 17 miles round trip two or three days a week. I think driving a Model A is very enjoyable--though I tried to avoid traffic. After all, a Model A is, IMO, all the essentials that make a car without any of the extraneous "stuff" that modern cars have. So I voted "drive."
That said, I took my car to shows specifically to let kids climb into it, and bounce in the drivers seat, and clamber into the rumble. Of course, my car wasn't a "show car" it was a presentable driver, but I think making that connection for kids--between old cars and enjoyment--is a useful thing. My hope is that remembering that time they were at the car show and somebody let them enjoy an old car will someday spark an interest in the hobby.
