Please help me to identify this distributor, it has 4 holes instead of 2/3.

Will it fit my 32 block?

Thanks, Tom.

Appears to be 37-41 V8 Ford, your better off using the, 33 to early 36 distributor, 3 bolt, for ease of fit, if you want the best performance get the late style 36 (also a 3 bolt but slightly harder to find) with the flat top coil and change the internal mechanical advance to the 11A (1941) style it gives some additional advance, uses the 37-41 rotor and inner distributor caps, these may be easier to find parts. Contact Bubba and see what he has and Skip Haney to see if he has a rebuilt coil to match.

3 bolt distributors have 4 holes.

I think the other hole allows a two bolt hookup to a V8-60. Purely guess work on my part, but a three bolt does have 4 holes, one of which is unused. There is no reason why that would not work on your 32.

Mart.
