Please help identify

I have been told different stories on this piece from rare flathead speed equipment to aftermarket and would like to know exactly what it is. The logo with the square border is quite unique and the bakelite is very very nice; I believe this piece to be NOS.

By giving us deminsions of the object you will enhance your likelyhood of finding an answer. The rectangular border makes me think it is of later manufacture than the Model A - possibly late thirties; and non-automobile, possibly tractor.

Not sure, but think it to be a '40 standard horn button.
