Pittman Arm with Angled Ball and Stud

Recently received a Pittman arm on exchange. The ball and stud are tilted 5 - 10 degrees or so from the shaft. I recall my Pittman arm ball and stud being perpendicular to the flat surface where the arm connects to the steering shaft. I have a '29 Murray Fodor. Am I missing something here or simply a mix up?
 
OK. I didn't think the previous Pittman on my car had this angle. Perhaps the previous arm was incorrect or my memory is limited. Thanks
