Pitman Problem

I'm having trouble finding a new pitman arm for my f-1. Tried Carpenter ,NPD, Mac's, and Early Ford Store. Nobody has them and sounds like won't have them any time soon. Anybody have any other ideas. Can a machine shop build the ball up on the old one? Thanks Jim

Don't know what year your truck is but here are some for later models 48-56: https://secure435.hostgator.com/~dlvry40/ufolder/ShowProducts.php?c=1&s=6&g=42&t=309&tn=

Here's something that might still be available on the H.A.M.B. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=543592

Would this one work? http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb...~S34J13YFIL72865113350C~Z5Z5Z5~Z5Z5Z50000266b#

You already looked at this one of Carpenter's? http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb.dll?parta~dyndetail~Z5Z5Z50000024c~Z5Z5Z5AADJJ~P60.00~~~~~~~F

These are all for 48 on. Your truck must be earlier year.

Use a passenger arm. The sector shafts are the same. The arms have different clocking. Cut out the blocking splines and fit it as required. You will be able to use regular tie rod ends.
