Pitman arm and drag link

My '31 Tudor will turn quite sharply to the right, but a left turn is not nearly as sharp. I thought it was the steering box that someone else had redone and didn't get back together right. A couple of folks I know who know more than I about the Model A say that the drag link is backwards. The end closest to the ball is on the pitman arm. Also, the pitman arm is 5" long from the center of the connection to the steering box to the center of the ball. Is this the shortened pitman arm?

Thanks
Dave

IIRC, the original pitman arm is 7.5" from ball center to sector shaft center. The shorter arms are 6.0".

first thing, put your wheels in the straight position. now look at your pitman arm it should vertical. if not, your left steering arm is bent.
