Piston ring source.

Any one have a good source for rings that are.07 over. I looked at the uuual vendors, they do not sell .07 over rings. A friend is refreshing an engine that has .07 over psitons and he wants somenew rings. Any ideas on a source?

Buy .080 O.S. rings and adjust the gap accordingly. .070 is so close to .080 O.S. you will not have a problem. I would strongly suggest cast iron rings and not chrome faced rings. These old blocks are hard and sometimes chrome rings will not seat in.

This is just my opinion.

Bill, These computerators are getting smarter by the day. There are programs about that convert a spoken message to text so you only have to talk to the computer and it does the typing. I'm sure you have plenty of very interesting books in you. Just keep the dog quiet while you talk!:D
