have 37 21 stud engine that i need correct piston rings for. this motor has aluminum 3 ring pistons that has two upper rings , compression and wiper and an lower 3 piece oil ring with expander. all the ring sets i can find show expanders under the upper two rings as well, but my pistons dont have expanders on these....im a little confused on what rings I need...little help please, im new to flatheads, so im learning as I go. Thanks

Just because the old set did not have the expanders does not mean the new type/set will be the same. Install the new set per the instructions. By the way you need to ask your questions about 37 in the early V8 forum (if you have not), this is not the section to ask car questions.
