Piston and Rod Installation Information

1925 Ford T Engine.

Did the factory engine assembly have the rods installed with the piston pin clamping bolt pointed toward the cam or the opposite side of the engine? On teardown, one of mine was pointed toward the driver's side.

I always been taught toward the cam.

Yes always on the cam side.
