Pinstriping T-wheels

Hi!
I've seen wheels with pinstriping like darts, both open and closed, but not filled with color like this one. The paint is cracked and old, but it is impossible to tell how old. Do you folks know if Henry ever did it this way, or is this more likely something that happened to it over the years passing by after the twenties?
If I had 4 wheels like this, I definately would have kept'em that way. But I have only one, the others are just black. Should I feel bad about repainting it, or would it be no harm done? (My original plan was to go for pinstriping in blue..)

Its your car, so do what pleases YOU! Are you going to do a restoration for a points car or merely to have fun with? Back in the day, people did all kinds of custom stuff like pinstriping etc, but Ford only striped the really early wheels I think... cost too much to do them all! ws

Ok, that is also what I was wondering about, how could he find time for pinstriping, when cars were running that fast down the assembly line..? Could have been the early models, yes. But the yellow looked real old here, very cracked when looking close to it. Looked like good old quality craftmanship..
Well, this car will be for fun only, and pretty much after my own spesifications. Don't have a body, so I've been thinking about maybe building a Huckster. Just to do it the cheapest way. We've got a whole lot of wood here in Norway...

Thanks for comments!
