Pickup Bumpers?

[Krmtrains]

Hello,

I've just acquired a 1929 Model A pickup. It is in good condition, but has been sitting for many, many years, so will take a little work to get it running again.

I wondered if pickups were equiped with rear bumpers?

I look forward to having many years of fun with my "new" Model A

No there were not equiped with rear bumpers from the factory. People have added rear bumpers to their pick up.

I assume then, that I would need some bumper brackets too. Is there any difference in those from model to model?

Mine had both front and rear bumpers when I bought it. The rears are on the long support bars. I plan on re-installing a rear bumper since I have the hardware. Unless I run out of money to chrome the rear bars
