Pickup bed help

Can anyone tell me what I would need to change if I put a late
31 wide bed on my 30 pickup? (fenders , running boards ect.)
 
Running boards are fine,just need fenders.Those fenders are probably one of the hardest things to come by.Is it that you have a late 31 body and no early style? Or,do you just like the late style body? I'm in Epping,14 miles from you and may have what you need either way.
 
Hi Keith, I have been looking for a narrow bed for my 30 ccpu but no luck I did find a wide bed and was thinking of fitting it on my truck. Would you happen to have a narrow bed?

I do have a real nice narrow bed.I have been collecting parts to build another truck,and the parts I have collected will make it a 31.I am down to needing glass and a floor mat.I have a 30 roadster pickup now,and have thought about building my project as a wide bed,but I've never found a good one.We beat our trucks to death here in N.H.A good wide bed is almost impossible to find here.

Don't buy the wide bed until you find the fenders. For what it is worth, I like the look of the narrow bed better.

I learned something by reading this tread. I thought the narrow box had a lip about !-1/2" wide. The wide box did not have this lip and the regular fenders would bolt to the wide box.
