Picked up some flatheads

After a flathead, I think a nailhead is the best looking engine out there, especially with the finned aluminum valve covers like on that truck! (You don't still have them, by any chance?) Crap! There I go again!

No I don't still have them. This was before I knew about the internet and I let the nailhead go to a guy in portland who paid 200 bucks for it. I guess they have a following. I had never heard 0f them and it was just an engine from an old buick. (like our grandparents drove). Oh well....

Nice find. I have found that the early Ford flathead six is a little hard to find. I bought one last year that a guy pulled from a 46 half ton. It was fun to tinker with before I sold it to a guy in the Midwest that needed it. Too bad I don't have enough sheds to keep everything!
