Pencil test

Okay 37 pickup
Let's see some pictures.
Bruce

Bruce, I was going to post some pictures for purely educational reasons, but I decided not to. I did not want to get banned from the site and based on my impression of the age of most of us, I did not want to be responsible for any heart attacks they may cause.

It seems like the 41A block that was made to replace worn out 221 engines did have castings that had the earlier pre 41 shape. The Canadian blocks are somewhat different since they were cast in a different foundry and had a somewhat different numbering system. They made their own cores for the casting box build up in Canada. The 41A blocks have kind of a mixture of different designs in them and they have the 59 on the back too. They don't have the thicker cylinder walls like the 239/59 blocks do.

The pencil test is used to determine if a women needs to wear a bra. If she places a pencil under her breast and it stays in place, she should wear a bra. If she places a pencil under her breast and it falls to the floor, she does not need a bra. A very important test in my opinion.

Had a smile on my face all day yesterday after reading the above.. :)
