peening cinch nuts

I have some cinch nuts to "peen" so I can screw down the floor boards on my 32 fordor. can anyone give me advice on how to do this and what I use?

I use a heavy weight such as another big hammer from the back side and use ball "peen" hammer on the round side to secure them in place. Bend "peen" the little edge down flush with the panel.

I have never had any luck with cinch nuts or square nuts. They were always in hard to get places and could not use a back up. Let us know if you have any luck.

This may work, take a bolt & nut put a slite tapper on nut and run all the way up the bolt.
Then hold the cinch nut with a pair of visegrip's then screw the bolt & nut combo down to swedge the cinch nut. If you have a air wrench it should work better then hand tools.
