PCV location for 390 engine

No.

One side valve (manifold vacuum), the other side filtered fresh air inlet.

if you mean which side of the engine, opposite valve cover that air intake is into. Most Fords are on the drivers side.

The old 390 engines in the early to mid 60s had the valve on the back of the manifold. They used 390s so long that they modernized to the valve cover over time.
