PC-7 on exhaust system

I've used PC-7 for a lot of things and have had good luck with it but never on an exhaust system. Anyone ever use on exhaust system. The hot air scoop on my heater has a dent in it and I would like to fill it in with something and paint it with high heat paint. I don't think that part of the system will get that hot but it will still get hot.
 
PC7 is only good to 200 degrees, i dont think it will work there, clean the dent and fill with brass
 
I don't think JB Weld will work either. I have a alum. intake with a hole burnt thur the side from the exhaust, heat raiser. Tried JB, it's holding for now but it's starting to blister out.
