Parts supply

for you probably berts or sacramento vintage ford. It will save you on shipping and you will get the parts sooner too. Berts is always nice to deal with!! Good guys

Best is kind of relative.

There are a bunch of excellent suppliers and a few that are not so good.

I know that Berts, Synders and Brattons are right at the top of the list based on my experiences. A lot of others have great reviews, but I have to dealt with them.

Synders and Brattons put money into having good quality replacement parts made to sell. They generally swap stuff they sell so you might get Brattons motor mount rubber from Synders and a Synders spring from Brattons.

I am on the east coast. There are suppliers on the west coast that would be more appropriate for you. Look at the shipping costs and policies as they vary some and are a bit more expensive then you might be used to paying from other retailers.

The two I use here in the east are--Bratton's Antique Auto Parts,Mount Airy,Md.
Snyder's Antique Auto Parts, New Springfield, Oh.
Closer to you would be Sacramento Vintage Ford Parts. Used them a few times without any problems.

A lot of the vendors have their special nitch. Sacramento for Wiring, Snyders for Window Regulators & seat springs, Mikes for Oil Filter Kits, etc, etc. etc. etc.

From where I am, shipping is not a question -- they ALL are high -- the joys of living in Alaska! But do check out shipping. Sometimes you can get the same part from different vendors for essentially the same price, the only difference being the shipping.

Bratton's is my favorite. If there is a problem, Walt will make it right. Seldom are they out of stock on items I order. I am on the west coast, but I recveive the parts in about five business days. In California the sales tax is 8% if you buy it from an in-state supplier. Out of state there is no sales tax. A factor to consider.

Bratton's outstanding. Mikes outstanding. A& L. Best repo parts made and best repo for show quality if you don't have originals. Tyree for wiring, basically what do you need?

Who do think would be the best parts supplier for A parts?

Brattons is the best. I have tried several others and realy did not have any problems but they are so well organised that they seem to always have the parts in stock and they will always show up at my door one day before earlyer than the competion. Parts quality is great.
