Parts identification

Hello,
Sorry for the uneducated post, but I was hoping for some info.
I have several parts of Fords, but have no idea what they are.

1) Engine and radiator on a sub-frame. I am guessing it was from a thresher or some type of implement since it has the "Twin Disc Clutch" mechanism on it.
2) Truck Cab. At some point a patch was welded onto the top.
3) Engine/radiator and cowl on a frame with solid wheels.

Any info would be appreciated. Even if it is just a simple "Look Here for the information"
Thanks,
Ken

That engine is a Model A with a B carb mounted backwards. that lever trans and odd exhaust manifold makes me think it was used in a boat. The cab is a 30-31 model A and although it's in bad shape, a lot of people are looking for these. That,s an early 20's T chassis under the truck cab

Nice detective work Dave. You mention that the "A" engine might have been used in a boat. Does anyone have a picture or two of an "A" engine being used in a boat?

KGW, Welcome to The Ford Barn! That stuff looks like it is in MidAmerica, The T chassis is 1923-25 with the remains of a Roadster or Turing cowl. I'm not sure but that Pick Up cap may be a late one with the stamped steel top, the first steel top Ford product. That fan shroud on the Model A engine would be a 1928 item. If it has a multi disk clutch it is an early 1928 unit.

Thanks for the information.
I'm embarrassed to say I didn't even look for serial numbers. I will check that out.
Yes, these are in KS. Doesn't get much more middle America than that.
Anybody interested in a trailer load of recently identified parts?
Thanks again,
Ken
