There is a guy who goes around picking up parts that people have bought online. He has done it for me in the past. Handles your parts more carefully and is less expensive that the big shippers. I've lost his contact info. Can anybody help? Thanks, Richard Grace 404-944-2724.

I have been in business since 2006.
I have been on Fordbarn done it started.
Before Ryan bought it.

Occasionally I will haul parts along routes
anchored by vehicle transport if I have space.

Right now, I am available to transport from
San Jose, California to Portland, Oregon.

Be careful in Portland. They stole my truck, trailer and restored '34 Ford Phaeton up there last year. Jim in San Jose.

Someone asked about my '35 Phaetons stolen in Portland last year. I was on my way to attend the National Early Ford V8 Club national meet in Wenatchee WA. My wife and I parked our Ford pickup and trailer in out motel parking lot. In the morning the whole rig was gone. Fortunately I had attached an Apple Air Tag to the trailer. I could see the thieves had dropped the trailer in a shopping center a few miles away. I got an Uber ride to the lot and found the trailer and Phaeton but the truck was gone. We abandoned out trip and rented a U-Haul truck to tow our trailer home. The police found the truck about a week later stripped of a lot of parts. Moral of the story. "Put Air Tags on everything and stay out of Portland". Jim in San Jose

Stolen Truck

Sorry about your truck.

That can happen anywhere nowadays.

If I stay at a motel it is an independent
one a few miles off the interstate.
I back my truck & trailer up to
my motel room door and disable
my truck.
If that isn’t possible - I park my
truck & trailer where I can see them
from my room - I back my trailer
up against a light pole or a wall
or something similar so my ramp
door can’t be opened - then I disable
my truck.

Hello Richard,

I will at least TRY to answer your question...Could you be thinking of Larry Hann (864)934-3473 ? He is based in the Anderson/Greenville, S.C. area & he has been doing it for decades. Even if he is not the one you were thinking of, give him a call. He is one of the small handful of guys I trust 100% with my transport customer overflow as he also transports vehicles.

Hope this helps!

God Bless
