Part number search engine

[Indianfield]

Hey guys, I won a box of old parts at an auction and before I list them on eBay I would like to look up the parts numbers to see what cars the parts go to.
A guy on a Mopar site showed me this engine where I can type the part number and it tells me what vehicle the part would fit.

Does anyone know of a similar site for looking up Ford parts?
I'm also looking for one for GMC parts if anyone knows of such a site.

You guys have been so helpful in the past
Thanks!

Heres a decent Ford one. http://www.classicmustang.com/decoding_part_numbers.htm

I can decode many part #s but some require a bit of research especially the older ones (pre-'40), short model runs (Mercury Meteor, Edsel, etc.) and special or standard parts. Ford used to publish a catalog for their dealer parts departmetns - OSI or Obsolete, Supercede and Interchange. But I haven't been able to locate a source for any of them.

I'd be interested in knowing if any are available.

I'd also be interested to see a search method for part #s as well, that does revsers look-ups (Part # to application).

I have over 90 boxes of NOS parts I bought this last summer, so I am in a simular, but abit larger boat. In 2004 I was sent the link below, but I do not know if it is still active. I burnt it off to hard copy. It is not a search engine, but is helpful. Rod
