Does anyone have a crossover part number for Model A points. I am looking for the early (like 30’s-40’s) part number from Auto Lite.tha is,

Mike

Thanks, I am looking for an auto lite part number though. I know of a place with lots of NOS box of auto lite parts. I am not sure they kept the ford number maybe they did, so I will keep that in mind for this weekends trip there.

Yeah after I posted I AI'd it and I think I came up with the first number-I took a screen shot on my phone. But I don't really trust AI so was hoping someone here might have had a crossover manual from that time frame. So when I go back to this auto parts shop I will look for them with those numbers.

Thanks,

Mike

The DP-3 FAA-12171-A number is a good number also , I saw photos of the points and the box they cams in !
I went back and AI popped up this thread ! Will AI be the death of forum’s ? Wonder how AI will answer questions about like what oil to use or whitewalls or blackwalls tires ;-)

It will depend on how you ask the question. A friend started a public opinion type company. He said when the customer comes in they have a premise they want you to prove. You frame the questions to produce the answers they want to hear. Presto happy repeat customer who heard what he wanted not the truth.
