part indentifcation help

This part i think is to my sport coupe.. but i dont know the name or part number
its original,, and if i remember correctly,,, not easy to find
any help identifying would be appreciated

I sold my Sport Coupe and will listing parts here and probably at later date on feebay

I do have some very rare and good condition parts i will be selling
ie: original tool pouch in good condition
original oil can in good condition,, comes with aftermarket bracket that bolts to firewall ?

It will be interesting if anyone comes up with a positive answer. I can't recall seeing those in any Model A body. Are the countersinks for a 1/4"-20 or smaller?

i would have bet if anybody knew the answer,, you would
just a guess i would say the countersinks would be for 3/16
1/4 seems a bit large
if i remember right(and i doubt it),, i thought they were from the belt rail area of the car
 
Are those part of the top bows on a business coupe, near where the oval windows are on the side? I think I have a pair of those somewhere myself.

That might be possible.. now that i think of it
it could be a part that attaches to one of the bows to add strength
the parts are right and left

when i restored my Sport Coupe i used repops because i dint have these restored yet
memory is good after a few reminders
 
From on the EV8 forum:So.............my rememberer is broken...........but my forgetter is doing just fine. Do any of you guys remember what I forgot?

is that part unique for the 28- 29 sport coupe?
the 30-31 is inserted inside the bow
I looked carefully and dont see any fasteners holding it in
tom

Thanks Gary,

I guess I never worked with original top wood on a 50-A. I assumed like Tom that it had steel sandwiched within the bow as does the 50-B.

I looked it up and they appear to be A-52255-B & 56-B right and left corner braces for bow #2. That is assuming it's from one after the whipcord top which was dropped at the end of May 1928.
