Painting over JB Weld

Has anyone had any problems with painting over JB Weld. I have a very tiny hole at the top of my gas tank just where the welting fits. It has never leaked as I don't fill the tank to the top as a rule.
 
Chuck, I used it on my modern ford trucks engine pan that was badly rusted. It worked great 4 years and no leaks! I painted right over it
with off the shelf spray can . Still on there with no problems . The truck sets out side winter and summer in ne ohio.

I did exactly what you are talking about. I filled some pinholes, sanded and even smoothed it out with some body filler, primed and painted with nitrocellulose lacquer, no problems.
