Paint Samples - ie. Touch-Up

I recently bought a 1930 82B Pickup that had been restored in 2004. Since then, several bolt heads, hinges, etc. have been chipped and could use touch-up. I think the paint is MEDIUM CREAM. Now I wouldn't mind paying a century note for a quart of paint IF I was positive that was the exact shade, but I'm not that THAT sure.

Does anyone offer paint samples - say 1/2 ounce or so? I'd gladly pay $20 for an ounce of MEDIUM CREAM.

Any of you out there have any medium cream they might part with?

Yes, I know that Ford didn't offer the 82B in Medium Cream in 1930, but I don't think that prevented my car's previous owner from using it.

BTW - Previous owner is deceased....:(

Thanks.

Your paint probably has faded a bit over the last 8 years and even if you had the "original" color correct, it wouldn't match anyway. What Ed said, most automotive paint stores can color match via computer and even give it to you in a rattle can if so desired.

If you have an auto paint supplier near you just take your pickup in to them and they will match your paint as is now and mix you up a pint for not much money.
