paint formula's for new paints

trying to find paint codes 1931 chicle drab, using base coat, clear coat, tried using scanner on a correct car through Finish Master was not correct, can anyone share info

The scanners will get a color closest to a formula that they have in the computer. The computer system will not create a new formula. The close color will have to be tweeked to get it right on.
 
Mike in FL is correct. I just went through this on an L-29 Cord. I did the tweeking and it finally took a few drops of House of Kolor Pagan Gold Kandy Koncentrate to get it where it needed to be, but I was blending. Or, if you trust these guys:

(I do), you can order a qt then spray it out and take it to your jobber to make up for you. Buying it all from them can be costly.
