Paint Finishes

I'm from southwestern Kansas where they have fairly low rainfall even in rainy years. I didn't know what rain was till I moved to San Antonio. We have the dry season mid year but it's still a lot more humid than western Kansas even in the drier months.

I've done touch up on old paint jobs but it takes a lot of time to prep the spots so that old paint won't lift and new pain will stick & fill the void left by the missing paint. A person has to layer the new paint to the level of the old. It's tedious work but it can be done with some success. You can't rush it between coats so it's best done as a side project that you can walk away from enough times to get it right. If you rush it then it may just make things worse.
