Paint Code for Rock Moss Green?

I had some paint mixed to match the Rock Moss Green on my truck a couple of years ago for touch up work. They came up with a dead on match through their computer. It was DuPont single stage acrylic urethane, the numbers on the can are;

552028G 1983 Ferrari Dark Green
Code: 573.310

Also, since I put the Ferrari paint on the truck, I noticed its a few tenths quicker in the quarter mile.
 
I am painting my car with the DuPont L8621 right now. It may not be as fast as a Ferrari color, but it looks great! JB
 
These are codes I had scanned a few years ago. PPG Concept and PPG base coat.

Keep in mind the Paint Chip Charts ARE the standard. While you may have a code and it may be correct (or close) the BEST standard is the paint chip and have it scanned. Then verify by eye.

Not to say that an existing code, any code is not correct for your eye.

Color machines have failed before - and based on LEDs and electronic sensors and filters - which can age.

As can the paint chips "fade" - but this is less likely as the paint used for the standard is chosen NOT TO.

There is no absolute in color.
