Paging Ol' Ron

For what ever reason, I am afraid that a lot of the old Fordbarn posters are not interested in the new format or find it confusing or find it not rewarding.
 
i liked b4 where yu could look to see who all has replied to a cretin post, most times i just look for my favorite posters and read what they posted, not even caring about the topic.
i like the old format better.

That's a real bummer, as some folks would say. I'm not going to personally give up hope for getting him signed up and back in here posting. I would have to credit Ol' Ron as one of the key figures for the modern day renewal of interest in the old flathead Ford engine. Let's all keep after him in some way to get his rear over here on the new Barn JM

If anyone cares to pass this along to Ron, let him know I was in the process of putting in a SBC/TH400 into my chassis when I received his reprinted book from Bill Boomer.

Two weeks later I had a FH and 3 spd put into it, honestly, if it wasn't for Rons book (even though I won't be souping it up anytime soon), I'd be running the SBC.

I agree!!Very sad news for the 'barners that want to learn more about the flatheads! Ron is always right to the point and almost always right on the money!Ron, I know I'm not alone by saying we need you here!Please help us out here if possible for you.If someone has offended you let us know.This is still a great site and we want and need your input!If I sound like I'm begging it's only because I am!!
